“Without mathematics, there’s nothing you can do. Everything around you is mathematics. Everything around you is numbers.” – Shakuntala Devi.

The Department of Mathematics participates in the undergraduate programme for mathematics fields of study that focuses on computer science, physics and statistics.

“Mathematics reveals its secrets only to those who approach it with pure love, for its own beauty.”  -  Archimedes.

The Department is a vibrant community of dedicated faculty and eager students who share a love of mathematics.
