Examination Cell
The affiliating Yogi Vemana University conducts examinations and awards degrees and postgraduate degrees to those who meet the requirements and conditions. The Examination Committee is in charge of preparing, administering, and assessing the Institution’s internal examinations for undergraduate courses. Additionally, the Examination Committee is responsible for the orderly administration of external university semester exams in accordance with university policies and procedures.
Aim:
The Examination Committee’s primary responsibility is to conduct Internal Assessment Examinations and External Examinations in accordance with affiliating university regulations, instructions and norms.
Role:
The Examination Committee ensures that answer sheets, question paper pockets, and other stationery are adequate for conducting the external university exams.
The Examination Committee convenes a pre-exam meeting to update faculty members on the examination processes and the role and duties of examination personnel.
The Examination Committee prepares the examination centre to ensure that the examinations are conducted smoothly and in accordance with the guidelines. And, it prepares an invigilation duty chart and allots seats in examination halls.
The Committee appoints examiners and other examination personnel. It takes precautions to prevent misconduct in the examinations.
The Committee dispatches the packages containing answer booklets to the University with the utmost care.
Constitution:
The Chairperson, the Principal chair the Examination Committee, and the Committee comprise the Vice-Principal as the Co-ordinator and six faculty members.
