Grievance Redressal Cell
GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL CELL (GRC)
The College has constituted the Grievance Redressal Cell (GRC) to inquire about the nature and extent of the grievances and address the grievances of the students, parents, and others that occurred during the general functioning of the College duly following the regulations under the University Grants Commission (Grievance Redressal) Regulations, 2012. The Grievance Cell examines the grievances and ensures justice for every student. The Principal is the Chairperson of the Committee, a senior lady faculty member facilitates it as its convener and is supported by a lady faculty member. The Chairperson nominates three students as members of the Cell. The GRC meets twice a year mandatorily and as and when the situation demand arises. Complaint boxes have been set up near the Principal’s Chamber and other vital places to file the grievances by the students.
The objectives of the Grievance Redressal Cell (GRC) are:
- To make a platform where students present their grievances regarding academic and non-academic matters.
- To maintain the dignity of the College by promoting cordial student-student relationships, student-teacher relationships, and teacher-teacher relationships.
- To promote a responsive and accountable attitude among the stakeholders, maintaining a harmonious atmosphere on the College campus.
- To invite and collect suggestions from the students, faculty and staff for improvement.
- Take necessary steps for improvement in the light of grievances.
The Institution has developed such an atmosphere to feel free to write a grievance and drop it in the complaint box. The student may lodge an oral or a written complaint with the Convenor or the Cell member and necessary supporting documents. The Grievance Redressal Cell will act upon the cases and ensure that the grievance will be adequately solved in a stipulated time.
