INSTITUTION'S INNOVATION COUNCIL (IIC)
CSSR & SRRM Degree & PG College established Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) as per the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC) guidelines on the 9th November 2020. The IIC aims to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the institution through innumerable modes leading to an innovation promotion eco-system on the college campus. The primary aim of the IIC is to encourage, inspire and nurture young students by supporting them to work with new ideas and transform them into prototypes while they are informative years. The initiative is to create a vibrant local innovation ecosystem, start-up supporting mechanism, establish a functional ecosystem for scouting ideas, and develop better students' cognitive abilities.The IIC of the college is actively involved in organizing and conductingmotivation sessions, faculty development programs and training programs, etc., for the students andmembers of the faculties.
Institution Innovation Council (IIC)
The management constituted the Institution Innovation Council (IIC)with the twenty members committee for 2020-21 as per the Institution’s Innovation Council guidelines, an initiative of the Ministry of HRD and issued the proceedings on the 9th November, 2020 requested to extend their cooperation.
Priorities of IIC:
The primary emphases of the IIC are:

To create a vibrant innovation ecosystem in the Institution.

To develop a Start-up supporting Mechanism in the Institution.
-
To prepare the Institute for the Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements Framework.
-
To establish a functional ecosystem for scouting ideas and pre-incubation of ideas.
-
Develop better cognitive ability for non-technology students in the Institution.

RESEARCH, INNOVATION DEVELOPMENT & CONSULTANCY CELL
The Research, Innovation Development, and Consultancy Cell was set up to encourage academics and students to engage in high-quality research, innovation development, consulting, and other research-related activities.
Objectives:
-
To support and motivate teachers and students to focus their efforts on research, innovation, and consulting.

To encourage scholars to present papers and articles in recognised journals and participate in symposia, seminars, workshops, and conferences to present their findings.

To encourage teachers and students to continue writing books and monographs for publication.
-
To enhance faculty members’ interest and motivate them to pursue joint research innovative and consultancy initiatives with their peers.

To entice the faculty to submit applications and get financing for research initiatives from various sources and funding bodies.

To Identify diverse consulting opportunities and provide consulting services in various area sectors.

To encourage students and lecturers to be innovative so that they may make distinctive contributions via products, ideas, and other means and obtain patents.

To encourage students in undertaking projects.
